Defense is unbundling.

For decades, mission capabilities lived welded inside platforms — built, owned, and locked in by the integrator. Open standards changed the rules. With OMS, UCI, and the AMS GRA, a capability can now be built, verified, and fielded as an independent, swappable service — procured on its own merits, from anyone who can meet the standard. Stator was built for that world. We deliver mission capabilities as conformant, independently procurable units, and we help define what conformance means.

Our mission-systems work delivers OMS-conformant services — a from-scratch fusion engine, deterministic spatial-temporal reasoning, and the conformant service implementations around them — designed to drop into any conformant platform. And we're carrying the same open-architecture discipline up the command echelon, where the mission-systems layer doesn't yet exist.

Stator was founded by engineers from advanced development programs in defense and aerospace. We're structured as a permanent, family-held R&D institution — no outside equity, no exit clock. In a field where the real risk is anointing a vendor that pivots or gets acquired, permanence is the point. We descend from a real lineage of defense-electronics work, and we're building the next chapter of it.
